Project Details

WFT Engineering partnered with another engineering firm to provide comprehensive mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection, and plumbing services for this exciting project. WFT Engineering personnel provided electrical and fire alarm system design for this fast track 105,000 sf addition to the existing landmark hotel. The project scope included extensive site verification as well as integrated design and construction administration for the complete installation of a new infrastructure including new boilers, chillers, electrical service and suite upgrades for the hotel, office, restaurant, lobby, ballroom, and conference center.

The design and construction for this facility included seamlessly expanding the existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection infrastructure while integrating the requirements for the new portion of the facility. The expanded/integrated systems included the mechanical central plant (chillers, cooling towers, pumps, etc.) new upgraded primary metered power service, updated digital fire alarm security system, and lighting control systems.
