Project Details

As part of a design build team, WFT Engineering provided mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection design for the renovation of an abandon 40,000 sf building into a secure, modern chancellery. WFT Engineering provided a detailed system inspection, study and evaluation for this facility and coordinated various infrastructure upgrades with the State of Qatar. The project scope included the installation of supplemental air conditioning in conference rooms, LAN rooms, and ambassador’s suites; coordination with specifically UL rated floor ceiling assemblies; LAN and telecommunications upgrades; life safety upgrades and generator installation. Much of the critical, long lead time equipment was pre-ordered to expedite delivery.
