WFT Engineering provided mechanical, plumbing,
and electrical system design for the high end interior renovation
of this large national law firm’s new 30,000 sf space. This
high end corporate attorney space spans a single floor in
a new base building. The project scope included the relocation
of a large section of medium pressure ductwork as well as
the installation of perimeter fan powered and interior shut-off
VAV terminals and air distribution systems in a very shallow
plenum space. Additionally, we designed a fully redundant
24/7 cooling system for the server room and a building off-hours
cooling system for the large copy center. The electrical design
included the determination of LAN room loads to size a new
UPS system and coordination with lighting, audio-visual, and
security design consultants. Extensive site survey and coordination
meetings were required to expedite the project to adequately
address comfort and design concerns while providing cost effective
solutions.
