Potomac
Promenade at National Harbor - National Harbor, Maryland
Project Details
WFT Engineering recently completed the mechanical, plumbing,
and electrical system design for Potomac Promenade Condominiums
at National Harbor, a mixed-use project including 246 luxury
residential condominium units, 41,000 sf of retail space,
and a 130,000 sf below-grade parking garage for 350 cars.
Condominium amenities include a fitness center, a media room,
a party room, rooftop pool and bar, roof terraces, and a main
lobby with seating areas and concierge services. HVAC for
the condominiums is a closed-loop, water-source heat pump
system. An independent closed-loop condenser water system
is provided for future retail space water-cooled air conditioning
units. The parking garage ventilation system is controlled
by a carbon monoxide detection system. A central domestic
hot water system with gas-fired water heaters and storage
tank is provided for the residences. The 10-story building
includes a high-rise package fire alarm system.
