WFT Engineering recently completed mechanical, plumbing, and electrical system construction documents for the complete renovation of this 40 year old, 115,000 sf office building. The scope of work included the design of new mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems and utility services to complement a completely new building core and exterior envelope. The building was designed to meet a minimum Energy Star performance rating of 75, which involved assisting the architect in designing the building envelope and appropriate energy-efficient systems and predicting energy consumption using computerized system simulation analysis.
